Tevez opts for ambitious Juventus

Carlos Tevez opted for a three-year deal with Juventus over the likes of AC Milan and Monaco, as the Argentinian ended his time with Manchester City.
The 29-year-old striker could eventually cost Juve £12million, with his representative, Kia Joorabchian, saying that his client is keen to try and help the Italian giants challenge for European glory in the coming seasons.
Joorabchian told the Corriere dello Sport: "Carlitos wanted to join Juventus.

"He wanted a club with a great history, a rich tradition and, naturally, with an ambitious and important project.

"Carlitos chose Juventus because he still wants to win in Europe before returning to Boca Juniors. He wants to help the club win their third Scudetto in a row.

"Monaco? Yes, they were also there. We saw each other and discussed him, but the offer from the Bianconeri was the most engaging."

Juventus are 17.00 to win the Champions League next season, with AC Milan 51.00 and Barcelona 4.50.

Tevez's arrival in Turin ends a seven-year stint in England, where he has featured for West Ham United, Manchester United and Manchester City.

He won three Premier League titles, an FA Cup, a League Cup and the Champions League while in England.
