Klopp thwarted in transfer efforts - Bundesliga

Jurgen Klopp has confirmed Bundesliga title-chasers Borussia Dortmund tried to sign Isco and Thiago Alcantara this summer.

Klopp had put the Spain pair top of his close-season wish-list but was left empty-handed when Isco joined Real Madrid from Malaga and Thiago moved to BVB's domestic rivals Bayern Munich.
